We have two childcare centres, one nestled in gorgeous suburban Onehunga and the second tucked in beside Mangere Bridge Village, both oozing with personality and charm. Little Fish – Permanent, Full-time, Children up to two years old

One of our teacher’s has their own bub in the making and will be going on maternity leave at the end of the year. This opens a permanent teaching position within our Little Fish team of three teachers, for someone who has found their niche working with children up to two years old. We want to find someone who has a big heart full of compassion, has a creative spark and who is willing to support the growing minds and bodies of our little ones.  We allow our tamariki to make sense of their world by unfolding naturally and following their interests to then deepen their knowledge and understanding. We want to compliment our existing team with someone who shares the same values yet is open minded and willing to share their own values and ideas. Our outdoor environment is an important place for learning, we are looking for someone who doesn’t mind a bit of rain or mud to foster children’s learning no matter the weather.

Big Fish – Permanent, Full-time, Children up to four years old

One of our teachers is coming to the end of their working visa and overseas travel is beckoning them! This means there is an opportunity for you to join a team of teachers who radiate energy, positivity and love teaching children aged from 2 to 4-years-old. A qualified, or well experienced, unqualified teacher with excellent communication skills and positive contributions to teamwork are attributes we acknowledge. We value teachers who are dedicated, enthusiastic and full of compassion and creativity. Teachers with initiative and integrity have experience with emergent programme planning and documentation and are eager to learn and grow even more would suit this role.

Little School – Permanent, Full-time, Children four years old and over

Due to popular demand our ‘Little School’ room will be gaining a beautiful new building extension and outdoor area. Therefore, we are on the hunt for a confident, caring and passionate teacher to join the small preschool team. This room is very quaint and unique in the way we support our preschool children and their foundation learning as they transition to school. We pride ourselves on working closely with our local primary schools and their kaiako. Working primarily with our 4 to 5-year-old children we are looking for either an experienced unqualified teacher or a teacher in training to work alongside our Little School team leader.
